Meeting of the BSPC Working Group on Migration and Integration

On 18 – 19 March 2018 in Stockholm (Sweden), meeting of the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC) Working Group on Migration and Integration was held. Members of the national parliaments of the Baltic Sea Region countries together with governmental experts discussed different national integration strategies and analysed best practices. The delegation of the Baltic Assembly was represented by Valerijus Simulik (Lithuania), Veiko Spolītis (Latvia) and Urve Tiidus (Estonia).

The aim of the Working Group is to identify measures that have been applied by the countries of the Baltic Sea Region in regard to migration. The primary outcome of the Working Group is to elaborate political recommendations in regard to migration and integration issues for the countries of the Baltic Sea Region.
