Participation in Inaugural Plenary Session of the Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine Inter-Parliamentary Assembly

On 5-6 October 2018 in Tbilisi (Georgia), Inaugural Plenary Session of the Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine Inter-Parliamentary Assembly was held.

Inaugural Session of the Assembly focused on the current security environment in the Black Sea region, strategic communication in countering of fake news and anti-western propaganda, domestic developments and parliamentary cooperation. During the Inaugural Session of the Assembly the Statutes of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly was signed by the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia H.E. Irakli Kobakhidze, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova H.E. Andrian Candu and Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine H.E. Andrii Parubyi.

Delegation of the Baltic Assembly was represented by President of the Baltic Assembly Mr Valerijus Simulik and Member of the Presidium Mr Kęstutis Bartkevičius.
