Latvian team wins the 2025 Baltic Assembly Cup in Ventspils

On 11-12 April 2025, parliamentarians from the Baltic States gathered in Ventspils, Latvia, for the 18th Basketball Tournament of the Baltic Assembly. 

The competition featured three games within the tournament framework. The opening match was between the Latvian team and their Estonian counterparts, concluding with a score of 32:31 in favour of Latvia. The subsequent game matched the Estonian team against Lithuania, ending with a Lithuanian victory at 45:33. The tournament concluded with a game between the Latvian and Lithuanian teams, where Latvia secured a win with a score of 26:18. 

Ultimately, the Latvian parliamentarians triumphed, winning the 2025 Baltic Assembly Cup.
