Baltic parliamentarians to discuss balancing environmental sustainability, economic growth and social well-being

On 14 - 15 September 2023, the joint meeting of the Natural Resources and Environment Committee and the Economics, Energy and Innovation Committee of the Baltic Assembly will take place in Riga, Latvia. 

During the meeting, parliamentarians will discuss balancing environmental protection, economic growth and social well-being in the Baltic States. The parliamentarians will also cover such topics as the collaborative efforts of the Baltic States in biodiversity conservation and the Baltic long-term strategy for energy security and independence in the region.
