Baltic parliamentarians to attend the meeting of the BSPC Working Group on Energy Security, Self-sustainability, Resilience and Connectivity


On 16-18 March 2025, the 5th Meeting of the BSPC Working Group on Energy Security, Self-sustainability, Resilience and Connectivity will convene in Stockholm, Sweden. Key discussions will revolve around building interconnected, sustainable and resilient transport systems together, energy security and self-sustainability. During the meeting, experts will provide invaluable information regarding security in the Baltic Sea, as well as civil preparedness and the necessary discussions will follow. 

Before the meeting, attendees will visit the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, headquarters of Candela in Frihamnen and the coast station of the Swedish Coast Guard on Djurö. 

The Baltic Assembly will be represented by the President of the Baltic Assembly Jānis Vucāns, Chair of the BSPC WG and Chair of the Economics, Energy and Innovation Committee of the Baltic Assembly Andris Kulbergs, Vice President of the Baltic Assembly Giedrius Drukteinis and Member of the Security and Defence Committee of the Baltic Assembly Meelis Kiili
