On 21-23 May 2025, Baltic parliamentarians will attend the annual European Maritime Day, which will be held in Cork, Ireland. During the meeting participants will attend multiple sessions and side events, in which they will discuss maritime related topics.
The European Maritime Day is an annual event during which the maritime community of Europe meet to network, discuss and outline joint action on maritime affairs and sustainable blue economy. It is also the place where ‘Ocean Leaders Meet’ and engage in an interactive experience to catch up on the current state of issues concerning the blue economy.
At the meeting, the delegation of the Baltic Assembly will consist of the President of the Baltic Assembly Jānis Vucāns, Vice President Giedrius Drukteinis and Vice Chair of the Latvian delegation Ģirts Valdis Kristovskis.
