Baltic Assembly to participate in SEECP Parliamentary Assembly Session in Skopje


The Baltic Assembly will be represented by Andrius Mazuronis, Member of the Security and Defence Committee of the Baltic Assembly, at the 11th Plenary Session of the South-East European Cooperation Process Parliamentary Assembly (SEECP PA). The session is scheduled to take place from 18 to 20 June 2024 in Skopje, North Macedonia.

During the session, a series of SEECP PA committee meetings will be held, covering key areas such as economy, infrastructure, energy, social development, education, research, science, justice, home affairs, and security cooperation.

The main event, the 11th Plenary Session of the SEECP PA, will take place on 20 June. The session will commence with an opening speech by President Afrim Gashi, followed by the adoption of the agenda, presentations, and interventions from observers. The main discussion will focus on strengthening regional cooperation by promoting economic development – SEE 2030 Strategy. The session will conclude with the adoption of the Final Declaration and closing statements.

The participation of the Baltic Assembly underscores commitment to fostering regional cooperation and contributing to discussions on security, economic development, and infrastructure within the broader European context.
