Baltic parliamentarians to discuss climate change and biodiversity in the final BSPC Working Group meeting


On 14-16 May 2023, the members of the Baltic Assembly will take part in the 8th Meeting of the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC) Working Group on Climate Change and Biodiversity in Gdańsk, Poland.

During the meeting, experts will inform the participants about biosphere reserves, as well as nuclear energy perspectives in Poland. The mandate of the Working Group, as well as the final report to the 32nd BSPC in Berlin will also be assessed during the meeting. Lastly, the upcoming 32nd BSPC and the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Youth Forum will be discussed.

The delegation of the Baltic Assembly consists of Vice President Andrius Kupčinskas and Vice President Jānis Vucāns.
