Baltic parliamentarians to discuss the collaborative efforts among the Baltic States in the health and social sectors

 On 8-9 June 2023, the meeting of the Health, Welfare and Family Committee of the Baltic Assembly will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania. 

During the meeting, parliamentarians, government representatives, and experts will focus on fostering collaboration among the Baltic States to tackle both social inequality within the region and shared challenges associated with youth unemployment. The aim is to collectively identify these challenges and work towards finding comprehensive solutions. Another topic discussed will be tackling the healthcare system challenges faced by the Baltic States, with a particular emphasis on finding collective solutions for issues such as workforce shortages and safeguarding patients' rights.
