Members of the Baltic Assembly to participate in the 74th Session of the Nordic Council

From 31 October to 3 November in Helsinki, the 74th Session of the Nordic Council will take place. Members of the Baltic Assembly will join the Session on 1-3 November.

The topic for the Session’s summit is “The future of the Nordic Region’s role in the world”. The emphasis of the discussions will be on security, the war in Ukraine, and the energy and climate crisis. 

Vice Chair of the Security and Defence Committee of the Baltic Assembly Urve Tiidus is going to address the participants of the Session by informing about the activities of the Baltic States regarding supporting Ukraine, as well as inform about the cooperation between the Baltic States and the Nordic countries in ensuring security and stability in the Nordic-Baltic region.
