On 14-15 March in Reykjavík (Iceland), the Theme Session of the Nordic Council will take place. Vice President Jānis Vucāns, Member of the Presidium Jānis Reirs and Member of the Security and Defence Committee of the Baltic Assembly Andrius Mazuronis will represent the Baltic Assembly during the event.
The topic for the Session is "Nordic energy supply in a time of uncertainty". The emphasis of the discussions will be on topics related to energy and security. The Nordic Council’s work on input into the work being done on the vision for the Nordic Region in the years 2025–2030 will also be discussed.
Member of the Presidium of the Baltic Assembly Jānis Reirs will address the participants of the Session by informing them about the necessity of energy cooperation between the two organisations and the Baltic-Nordic countries.
