Members of the Economics, Energy and Innovation Committee meet to discuss economic growth and green transition in the Baltic states

On 4 February 2022, the meeting of the Economics, Energy and Innovation Committee of the Baltic Assembly will take place in Tallin, Estonia. During the meeting, parliamentarians will focus on the economic and digital challenges in the Baltic region and discuss such topics as taking stock of the COVID-19 crisis and turning challenges into opportunities to foster economic growth in the Baltic region. Another topic discussed will be Industry 4.0 and 5.0 in the Baltic states and the joint activities to enable digital and green transitions in the region, as well as the development of joint energy infrastructure projects. Lastly, a follow-up on the implementation of the Rail Baltica project will be assessed.
