Working activities of the Baltic Assembly
In 2025 under the Latvian presidency, the Baltic Assembly will cover numerous topics in all areas of cooperation. The topics to be discussed in 2025 are the following:
- Comprehensive defence in the education of the Baltic States
- Building societal resilience and patriotism in young people in the context of the conscription
- Logistics networks and their development in the Baltic States
- Moving forward with the Baltic energy strategy
- Status update of the Rail Baltica project
- Fostering cooperation of the Baltic States on sustainable agriculture and forestry
- Protecting biodiversity in the Baltic Sea
- Cross-border healthcare data exchange
- Cooperation of the Baltic States regarding medical joint procurements and building-up reserves in healthcare
- Accelerating the transition to a single digital market resilient to internal and external threats
- Maritime cybersecurity in the Baltic States
- Baltic Science Fund
- Healthcare research in the Baltic States
- Advanced particle therapy centre for the Baltic States
- Promoting cooperation of the military industry in the Baltic States
- Common Defence area of the Baltic States
